So I must say I am thoroughly enjoying having a weekend off.
.
Yesterday I went to Gioconda's yoga class at Bodhi and then she and I met up with Kelly for lunch at Whole Foods, a visit to Whole Earth Provision Company and a walk around Town Lake. All in all a very fun day. Here are some pictures:

Pull ups at Town Lake. I did 2 1/2 and then Kelly spotted me.Gioconda's pull ups. I figure if this yoga teaching thing ever falls through for me I could go back to personal training... kidding.
And here we are on the end of the walk in the lovely fall colors.

So after our day about town, Kelly and I came home, cleaned the house, made some food and Anne and Jeff came over for dinner. All in all, a great day.
.
I woke up thinking about the Group Practice this afternoon. I am really looking forward to it. It seems like it has been a while since we did something like this. And practicing at the holidays is one of my favorite things to do. Plus I have some poses I want to work on and group energy is usually helpful to go past places where I am stuck.
.
I do have some other things on my mind that are percolating a bit. I expect they will come flooding out at the first of the week.
.
Also- just so everyone knows, I am here this week but gone from teaching public classes from December 4 until December 21st. I teach in Corpus Christi, then Tucson, Arizona with Darren, then I have an Anusara Yoga Curriculum Development Committee meeting in The Woodlands and then I am here teaching an Immersion at Breath and Body. Then I will teach the week before Christmas and then I am gone again until after the new year. I will be in town January 4-6 and then out of town again for a week. So, come to class this week! Don't wait.
.
And I have great subs- Mark, Hannah and Mandy, Dido and Maricarmen are all filling in for me while I am gone so please support the classes, the subs, your classmates, your practice by continuing to attend your weekly classes.

Love this! Hope to see you this evening, and sometime this week. Walking the Lake is like a holy ritual for me.

Nice pictures, especially those depicting you and Gioconda in warm weather clothes while we're dealing with the first cold snap of winter. Ah, to be in Austin.
